Thursday 14 November - Denham

After very heavy rain overnight, 44 Members and guests arrived at the course full of trepidation as to whether or not our journeys would be in vain!

However after a hearty breakfast and a chat from the Secretary about using mats on the fairways, the sun came out and play commenced from 2 tees.
The course was in remarkable condition with excellent greens, causing heartache for many.

No such problem for our winning member, Doug Wilson. Who scored a magnificent 38 points. Runner up was JohnThompson with 35 points.

The winning team with an excellent score of 85 pointsts was Messrs Graham  Kilbey, David Shiebert and Richard Harris(Guest).

Our grateful thanks to David Hunt for not only purchasing an excellent prize table but for his hard work along with John Thompson in scoring the cards.

The Carvery afterwards was excellent and it is our intention to return in the not too distant future.
